Crawling crimping scissors

Crawling my way through Dutch..

In a Dutch exam this evening, I confused the word “Crawling” for “Cutting paper with crimped scissors”. I’m not particularly sure why I thought there was a word for cutting paper with crimped scissors, or even if crimped scissors exist.

Should you ever find yourself stumped in a Level 2.2 Dutch exam, always remember that to ‘kruip’ is to crawl.

Stay tuned for a thrilling installment of a Level 2.3 exam (should my other marks be enough to actually get to another level) where I may finally conquer the ability to crimp.

London Virus = Simon Says?

It seems the owner & chief coffee barista of my favourite Gent coffee shop Simon Says is now the naked spokesman for the Brussels to London train Eurostar.

I’ve been a Simon Says devotee since Simon appeased my longing for the delightful Flat White – a deceivingly difficult coffee to find outside of Australia!

Check out Simon from Simon Says pimping the latest promo for Eurostar at londonvirus.be, running around the streets of London in the nude – anything for a free ticket on a train..!
